Internet Explorer FAQ

1. When I'm browsing Internet I get one of following error messages:

  • The Page Cannot Be Displayed.  
  • Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site Web address. 
  • A connection with the server could not be established.  
  • The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. 
  • The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, 
    or you may need to adjust your browser settings.  
  • Cannot find server or DNS Error.  
  • An internal error occurred in Windows Internet extensions.
- To trouble shoot this issue try to verify Internet Explorer 
Connection Settings, your TCP/IP configuration, check for
corrupted cookies, contact your ISP (for possible problems with its DNS server).

2. Only partial Web page is displayed
There is Protocol HTTP stream from sites with Internet Explorer 5 when
a delay occurs during a query. The page is only partially rendered. 
Refreshing the page may be, although subsequent refreshes may 
generate the same problem.
To resolve this problem, download and install the appropriate file 
from the Microsoft Software Library.

3. Blank Page Is Printed in Internet Explorer 5.5
When you attempt to print or preview a Web page in Internet Explorer 5.5 to print an e-mail message in Microsoft Outlook Express 5.5, a blank page may print and only the Headers and Footers may be visible. To work around this behavior, disable the Auto-Select option for encoding. To do so, on the "View" menu, point to "Encoding", and then click to clear "Auto-Select".
